It’s no surprise that Ponzi schemes and bullion and currency scams made the North American Securities Administrators Association’s list of this year’s 'Top 10 Investor Traps.' But amid the usual suspects of unregistered securities and flat-out rip-offs, state securities regulators included exchange-traded funds that use leverage to boost returns.
