H&M, Next profits drop as stronger dollar dents margins

Two of Europe’s largest clothing retailers, Sweden’s Hennes & Mauritz and Britain’s Next Plc, on Thursday reported lower profits as consumers spent less on fashion in the recession and the stronger dollar eroded margins.
