KBW Announces Changes to KBW Bank Index (BKX), KBW Mortgage Finance Index (MFX), KBW Regional Banking Index (KRX)

Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc., a full service investment bank that specializes in the financial services sector, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of KBW, Inc. (NYSE: KBW), today announced upcoming changes to the KBW Bank Index (Index Symbol: BKXSM, ETF Symbol: KBESM), KBW Regional Banking Index (Index Symbol: KRXSM, ETF Symbol: KRESM), and KBW Mortgage Finance Index (Index Symbol: MFXSM).

Effective prior to the opening of business on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, the following changes will take place across KBW Indices:

BKX

Deletions:

Washington Mutual Inc. (NYSE: WAMUQ)
Wachovia Corporation (NYSE: WB)

Additions:

Cullen/Frost Bankers, Inc. (NYSE: CFR)
Commerce Bancshares Inc. (NASDAQ: CBSH)

KRX

Deletions:

Cullen/Frost Bankers, Inc. (NYSE: CFR)
Commerce Bancshares Inc. (NASDAQ: CBSH)

Additions:

First Niagara Financial Group Inc. (NASDAQ: FNFG)
BOK Financial Corp. (NASDAQ: BOKF)

MFX

Deletions:

Washington Mutual Inc. (NYSE: WAMUQ)

Additions:

KB Home (NYSE: KBH)
