WASHINGTON - Feb. 13, 2023 - PRLog -- The National Black Movie Association and Warner Bros. The new partnership will recognize accomplishments of Black filmmakers over the last century and provide a platform for the next generation of filmmakers attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The #ReelHBCU Challenge, provides educational and financial support for students pursuing careers in the film industry.  The initiative encourages public and corporate investment to support professional development and scholarships for students attending HBCUs. To participate in the contest, HBCU filmmakers were invited to submit a short film of 10 minutes or less for an opportunity to win a $5000 scholarship and a mentorship opportunity. Two (2) winners will be announced on National Black Movie Day.

Our  #ReelHBCU winners will benefit greatly from the company's involvement in their aspirations to become filmmakers."
