Doug Schofield Launches “Frustrated with Faith: How to Find Peace through Faith”

Douglas Schofield is a retired history teacher, ex-school administrator, and respected author. After the critical success of his book “Faith Building Evidence”, Doug is now releasing “Frustrated with Faith: How to Find Peace through Faith”.

Canada - November 22, 2022

Christianity has undergone many changes over the centuries while the core message remains the same. Yet, today, both those within the Christian faith and those outside of Christianity feel frustrated with it for various reasons.

After focusing on the historical evidence for Christianity in ‘Examining Jesus’ (2015) and ‘Faith Building Evidence’ (2020) Schofield wanted to address these frustrations and provide an intentional, biblical path to developing peace with God, in his new book “Frustrated with Faith”.

This is a non-fictional-self-help personal transformation Christian book devoted to examining the frustrations Christians and non-Christians feel toward the Christian faith. At the same time helping the reader to understand the biblical perspective related to these issues and attain a deeper connection with God.

“Why is there a disconnect between what Christianity teaches and what Christians do or experience? Much of the frustration people feel about the Christian faith is related to this very issue. People critical of Christianity from the outside decry what they see as hypocrisy while Christians themselves are frustrated with the difficulty of being faithful to ‘the Faith’. It doesn’t have to be this way,” said Douglas Schofield.

With his new book, Schofield wanted to “provide evidence for the reality of the “good news” that Christianity promises and an intentional path to a more confident faith.

By understanding and practicing the biblical teachings to overcoming these frustrations Doug is confident that anyone can gain peace with God, as the Scriptures promise.

The powerful messages included in “Frustrated with Faith” are embodied in the PEACE acronym, which according to Douglas, means the following:

“Ponder your personal position, Evidence to overcome doubts, Acceptance of God’s plan for you, Commitment to follow his plan, Exercise your faith muscles.”
