ALIVE Active Shooter Survival Training Program’s recently updated online courses will teach students to identify warning signs of incoming violence, understand why assailants attack, and take the appropriate actions to stay alive. Students will find four different courses to choose from based on their desired length of education.
Students can enroll in “The 5 Steps of ALIVE Accelerated Course” which is one hour long. One of the many benefits of joining the course is that the student will gain the confidence they need to react quickly without freezing up. Instead of feeling hopeless, they will learn to feel empowered and even determined to help others around them.
The school’s “ALIVE Power Course” is two hours long and will cover everything mentioned in the previous course. Furthermore, students will discover how to recognize upcoming acts of violence, develop a survival mindset, and become proactively reactionary.
“Surviving an Active Shooter Using ALIVE Comprehensive Course” takes three hours to finish and covers everything the other two courses have to offer. Additionally, the student will have access to practical exercises they can do alongside their loved ones. All the courses include an exam and certificate upon completion.
