STAMFORD, Conn. - Nov. 17, 2021 - PRLog -- Girls With Impact, the nation's only live, online mini-MBA for young women 14-24, today announced the appointment of Dominic Venturo, Chief Digital Officer at U.S. Bank and one of the Top 25 Influential Innovators, to its national Corporate Board.

The announcement comes on the heels of U.S. Bank's second year partnership with Girls With Impact. Most recently, the organizations joined forces to launch "NextGen Denver 10K," which is an effort to train 10,000 young women of color and from low- to moderate-income families with skills that will transform their future career opportunities.

"It's a great fit – I'm excited to bring my background in digital and innovation to Girls With Impact to help their community learn more about fintech, startups and running a business," said Venturo.

"We also need more women and women of color across industries, especially in tech and finance," he added. "I'm looking forward to working alongside the Girls With Impact team to help young women succeed in school and be ready for their first professional roles."

Girls With Impact CEO Jennifer Openshaw said the addition of Venturo complements a powerful group of leaders across education, HR, and business.

"Dominic brings critical digital expertise and a shared sense of urgency," said Openshaw. "We're grateful for his leadership."

Other members include: Stephanie Redish Hofmann, Managing Director at Google; Fernando Salinas, Global Senior Vice President of HR, Johnson & Johnson, Cara Williams, Global Segment Leader, Mercer; and Lynda Applegate, Baker Foundation Professor at Harvard Business School.
