The reality is that once the police record is created, you’re okay. You’re out of the hospital. You’re out of the emergency room. That’s the appropriate time to call an attorney, discuss what happened. An attorney will then be able to get police records and medical records to evaluate the claim. Step one, I always tell my clients, and I regularly give seminars on injury, is to take care of your body, take care of your physical injuries.”
