Messina Captor Films Wins Takes Home Two "Best of Awards" from the iHollywood Film Festival

Homecoming: Veterans - Wives - Mothers and The Salon Digital Series both projects by Messina Captor Films take home top awards during this inaugural film festival.

LOS ANGELES - July 8, 2021 - PRLog -- The iHollywood Film Festival launched its inaugural event this past June with two films from filmmaker Roxanne Messina Captor capturing top honors.  Winning the FIVE STAR AWARD BEST FILM for EXPRESSION was the documentary - HOMECOMING: VETERANS - WIVES - MOTHERS. This short film saluted the military service of women and followed their challenges on a new battlefield-The Home- front.

The BEST DIGITAL SERIES award went to THE SALON (2020).   This digital series pivots from the comedic to the dramatic with an ensemble cast that mirrors the culturally diverse richness of the world outside the "The Salon's" rarified atmosphere. The storyline punctuates the zany and unlikely friendships that are formed among employees and customers amplified by contemporary issues ripped from today's headlines. The multitalented cast from Executive Producers Kelsey Grammer and Tom Russo includes Harry Shearer, Kate Linder, Sam Rubin, Luis Lopez, Eddie Buck, and introduces Mason Grammer.
