New Online Magazine Puts the Focus on the Black Diaspora Over the age of 45
New Orleans, Louisiana May 6, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - When the world seems to be changing at the speed of light, segments of the population can feel left behind. Being underrepresented in the media is commonplace for Black 'Baby Boomers' and seniors. Vintage Black Mag wants to be the place that fills the void for older readers looking for materials that they feel are more of interest to them. "Our digital magazine is unique in that way because it's hard to find Black magazines targeted specifically to this market. We don't really have the same interests as the younger crowd." says, Lesly Patterson, Publishing Editor. Patterson, also a writer and author, created the idea for the magazine while being quarantined in Belize.
Vintage Black Mag was created to find interesting information from across the globe that affects people of color. The monthly magazine covers topics, such as Health, The Spirit, Love & Sex, Sports Icons, Pictorial Tributes, Stories by readers, VB FINE!-featuring attractive and sexy over the 40s, plus a forum for readers to speak their minds. The goal is to build readership and become a mainstay and voice for those that now move through life at a different speed.
"Very eclectic, fascinating memorabilia! It is well written, thought out. The photographs are exceptional and it is both positive and encouraging."-Bishop Cynthia King Bolden-Gardner, Reader
