DV-2022 Green Card Winners will be announced on May 8th, 2021

The big day is fast approaching! On May 8th, 2021, applicants for DV-2022, the Diversity Visa Program (also known as the Green Card Lottery) will be able to check their status.

NEW YORK, NY, May 06, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Applicants who used the US Green Card Office Submission Service will receive an email regarding their status. Those who are successful will receive a phone call. While you don't need to manually check, you can do so by using our winner status checking system from May 8th, 2021

If you prefer to check your status directly on the US government website, you can check if your application has been selected here. Please be aware due to high demand in the first fews weeks of May the US government service may be very slow or temporarily unavailable.

Please note: Only applicants whose confirmation number begins with 2022 will be able to check their status. This number would have been issued by the US Government in either October or November 2020 and send to your email if you had used the paid submission service.

If you didn't apply during the last registration period or aren't successful, you'll be able to start registration for next year's lottery now by submitting your DV-2023 application online.

Using the US Green Card Offices provides a number of benefits over doing it yourself.

These include:

• You won't be disqualified due to an error in your application.
• Your application will be submitted on time, that's guaranteed.
• Your application will guarantee be accepted by the US government.
• Your confirmation number will be sent to your email on time
• You get the best chance of being selected. No one can beat that!

Around 65% of applications are rejected each year due to error or omission. Even something as minor as the wrong background in your application photo can affect your status, and this kind of mistake is easily avoidable when using a dedicated application service.

Rather than taking the risk, apply through the US Green Card Office to ensure your application is handled correctly. They also offer guidance for handling your application interview.

Winners will also benefit from the US Green Card Office's help moving to the USA, as their service can arrange everything needed to transport you and your belongings to the United States.

In fact, there hasn't been a better time to apply for a US Green Card than right now. The President was vocal about his support for immigration and has followed through with many of these promises during his first 100 days in office.

One of the most significant amendments was his US Citizenship Act of 2021. This brought in a number of reforms, but perhaps the most notable is the Diversity Visa Program cap increase. It is today up to 55,000 but plans are to increase it to 80,000 per year.

If nothing else, this demonstrates a more positive attitude towards diversity than America has seen for a number of years now. Allowing more applicants from countries with typically low rates of US immigration only serves to improve the country's cultural diversity.

Of course, this change in regulation won't impact the winners announced this year but do mean there's roughly a 50% greater chance that applicants will win in next year's Green Card Lottery.

The Government stance on immigration can also be seen in moves such as freezing deportation and construction of the US-Mexico border wall. In short, now is a good time for potential immigrants to the United States of America.

If you're not successful this year, you can always try again in DV-2023!
