Northern Trust Expands Banking Team in New England

Northern Trust Wealth Management announced today that Katherine Berry Templin has been appointed Banking Practice Lead responsible for overseeing the firm’s lending and deposit business in New England. She will lead the team in driving continued growth through the delivery of banking solutions that enhance outcomes for businesses and investors throughout the region. Leveraging the vast resources of Northern Trust, Templin will be an integral leader who will drive dynamic growth in New England through her work in customizing loans, deposits and treasury solutions that help clients to achieve their strategic goals.

Templin, who began her career at Northern Trust over 30 years ago, has held various roles at the firm and has a comprehensive background that spans commercial, private equity and real estate banking. Most recently, Templin served as Senior Vice President of the Commercial Banking Group in Chicago. She is passionate about not only serving clients, but also the communities in which she lives and works. She is an avid supporter of the Gorton Center, Lake Forest Open Lands and the Church of the Holy Spirit Food Pantry. Additionally, she is a member of the Illinois Venture Capital Association and Women Association for Venture and Equity. Templin received a bachelor of arts degree in English with a concentration in business from the University of Notre Dame. She received her Certified Private Wealth Advisor certification in 2013.
