In so doing, the first "Faces of Rap Mothers Presents" book releasing in May 2021, shares the story behind the Real Official Group X . . . or plainly, Group X as a creative offshoot of Candy Strother DeVore-Mitchell, wizardess behind the Faces of Rap Mothers over one hundred contributory biography snaps w/images enclave or collective, were little known rap and hip-hop iconic factoids are unleashed in book form through autobiographical fiction and/or docufiction.
Group X, founded by Candy's daughter HONEY (a rap artist herself) includes four additional young female vocalists as members, who were invited by HONEY and Randy Hankins to audition. Subsequently, these young ladies joined and began performing as Group X. Randy Hankins, the group's manager and talent developer inspire these vocalists to create their unique and rewarding music industry presence with ever-increasing venue engagements, including Cannabis and Hemp Comedy Festival, Taste of Soul, and BET Experience summer of 2021. On the 19th of June 2021, for the Cannabis and Hemp Comedy Festival at Victorville Fairgrounds; Faces of Rap Mothers, Joe Torry, and others host and Group X is ready to take center stage and deliver. Group X is booked through Snoop Dogg's support network and will perform in 2021 on the same stage as D. L. Hughley, D.C. Young Fly, KING THA Rapper, and others. Also, HONEY's brother, Universal Recording Artist, KING THA RAPPER performs with HONEY BLUNT, 5X West Coast Hip-hop Award-winner.
An impending movie, currently in development and beginning production, "Karen's Self Defense," showcases Group X and select Rap Mothers and Fathers and is co-produced by Nick Payne and Jennifer Anderson. Candy Strother DeVore-Mitchell has booked additional up-and-coming artisans: Golden Child and FVCE 2 Mob who add to the suite of performers and entertainers arriving this summer from all over the United States to appear with Group X (Real Official X) in support of Faces of Rap Mothers events. The Faces of Rap Mothers recently signed with the number one booking agency in the Nation; for certain there is more to come in 2021 and beyond.

HONEY, Candy Strother DeVore-Mitchell's own daughter, carries the familial legacy forward, including Ophelia DeVore who reigned as the first African American model in the United States as well as the first woman to own a modeling agency in the Nation. From these origins, performance artistry was a staple for HONEY and her mother, Candy. And, keeping with tradition, HONEY has acted, danced, performed gymnastics and karate, modeled and tumbled since early childhood - her performances demonstrate this reality. As a founding member of the all-female recording Group X, HONEY is happy to introduce her additional group members:
Angel, born to two United States Air Force (USAF) parents, maintains an elder role to her fifteen months younger sister, Kota also a member of Group X. A true athlete, Angel favors her mother, a strong, talented woman. In high school, she began dramatic classes, later converting to law studies and an emphasis in political science with African studies in college. Today, as a performance artist, Angel joins HONEY, Brie, Kota (her younger sister), and Musical Kay to bring their vision to listeners and fans alike.
Brie met Randy Hankins and HONEY on vacation in Michigan where she auditioned to become a member of Group X. As a Virgo, Brie believes in working hard to achieve her goals and does just that. Being in X brought forward Brie's artisan career empowerment and friendship with like-minded young adult women. She states she is learning and growing with fellow artists who are also focused on goal-achievement.
Kota, also born to two USAF soldiers, grew up with a strong understanding of drive and talent as the youngest of seven children. She has an innate ability to work in a team environment. Group X manager, Randy Hankins, provided Kota and her sister, Angel an opportunity to join Group X through auditions, which they knocked out of the park. Kota walks in faith with the Lord toward future performance artistry achievement.
Musical K grew up in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. K writes and performs as a vocalist. She sang the National Anthem for the Philadelphia Soul Football Team and was gifted her first electric guitar, which was signed by Michael Vick. She states her time in Philly added to her musical creativity and, of course, being near Boston, Massachusetts did as well. K is a welcome addition to Group X; however, she won't be performing in all events during 2021 due to conflicting schedules; however, when she can - she fully intends to.
