Cone Health to pay its own executives after changes to agreement with Atrium Health

CEO Terry Akin and other chief executives at Cone Health are back on the health system's payroll after nearly a decade of being paid via Charlotte-based Atrium Health in line with a 10-year management services agreement that will end –– three years early –– at the end of this year.
