What's included in Duke Energy Progress' request for a 12.3% rate hike in NC

The largest single item in the rate hike is the $800 million that Duke Progress will seek to recover over time for the Asheville Combined Cycle Natural gas plant, says Stephen De May, N.C. president for Charlotte-based parent company Duke Energy Corp.
