BOSTON, MA / ACCESSWIRE / January 29, 2016 / Zoom Telephonics, Inc. (OTCQB: ZMTP) today announced the launch of its new line of Motorola brand cable modems.
Effective January 1, 2016 Zoom Telephonics, through its MTRLC division, began its exclusive 5-year license for producing Motorola brand cable modems and gateways. The first three products in the new Motorola line are the MB7220 8x4 cable modem, the MB7420 16x4 cable modem, and the MG7310 8x4 N300 Wi-Fi(R) cable gateway. These products share a new look, advanced performance, and U.S. - based customer support. During product design, Zoom focused on Internet and Wi-Fi speeds, high performance over an extended temperature range, resistance to lightning and power surges, attractive and efficient case design, and ease of use.
Motorola MG7310 product
The new line of modems is available now at select Best Buy stores, BestBuy.com, all Micro Center stores, Amazon, as well as through retailers supplied by Zoom distributors. All three products have been certified by CableLabs, Comcast, Time Warner Cable, the FCC, and Bureau Veritas. The MG7310 cable gateway is also Wi-Fi certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance.
