J.D. Power and Associates Ranks Frost Bank Highest in Texas in Retail Banking Customer Satisfaction

For the fourth year in a row, Frost Bank has received the highest ranking in customer satisfaction in Texas in the J.D. Power and Associates 2013 U.S. Retail Banking Satisfaction StudySM. Twelve other retail banks in Texas were ranked, including regional and big national banks.

With an index score of 855, Frost ranked highest in customer satisfaction among all retail banks in Texas. That is 77 index points above the Texas region average of 778 and 92 points above the national average of 763.

Survey respondents gave Frost particularly high satisfaction marks for product offerings, account activities, fees, account information, and facility factors, according to the J.D. Power and Associates study. In all ranked areas, Frost scored highest in Texas. Based on the Power Circle Ratings on JDPower.com, Frost was the only Texas bank to receive “among the best” marks in all factors.

“The J.D. Power ranking recognizes Frost’s legendary customer satisfaction so deeply ingrained in our culture,” said Dick Evans, Frost chairman and CEO. “Our customers understand and appreciate the Frost difference, for example when they call on the phone, when a real person answers; or in a financial center, where our bankers treat customers with courtesy and respect. We’re also enhancing the way customers experience Frost on our website, where customers can manage their finances, and on their smart phones, with our app for iPhone that is noted for its ease of use, simplicity and convenience. None of this would be possible without our great employees, who bring our culture to life and take outstanding care of customers.”

This is the eighth year J.D. Power and Associates studied retail banking but only the fourth year Frost was eligible for ranking. Frost was first included in 2010, when J.D. Power and Associates first conducted a separate ranking for banks in Texas, and the bank has maintained its highest ranking.
