With certification from the Dermysk Academy, students will be fully trained, experienced, and ready to begin a new career either at a local MedSpa or working from their own home. The new classes offer a unique combination of practical training at Dermysk Academy locations across Canada and online learning modules that can be completed from anywhere with an internet connection.
New students can choose between two class options, which have no prerequisites other than a high school education, or some form of relevant work experience. In the Basic training course, students will get certification for a wide range of standard treatments, including laser pigmentation, laser hair removal, and fractional ablation.
Graduates from the Basic course can begin working in a MedSpa immediately, and may also return at any time for training in more complex techniques, using the Advanced course. This class provides training in Body Sculpting, stem cell treatments, working with difficult clients, and individualized business strategies.
Alternatively, students may also bypass the Basic and Advanced courses, using the Dermysk Academy’s Master-level training. This all-inclusive course covers everything taught in the Basic and Advanced classes, provides certification for even the most complex MedSpa techniques, and includes a Master of Medical Aesthetics certificate for graduates.
All students will also be enrolled in the Dermysk Academy’s after-graduate support program, at no additional cost. This program provides assistance to qualified MedSpa workers seeking job placements, training opportunities, and new industry connections.
