As part of the announcement, runners can now sign up for Epic Sports Marketing’s two remaining running races for the year—the Lake Norman Turkey Trot and the Lake Norman Elf Classic Running Festival. In addition to its 2023 races, the company has also opened registrations for its first few 2024 events.

The first race that Epic Sports Marketing is accepting registrations for is its 17th Annual Lake Norman Turkey Trot, which will be held on November 23rd, 2023. This race is offered in 5K and 10K distances and takes runners on an asphalt course through the scenic Lake Norman area.
Epic Sports Marketing is also hosting its 2nd Annual Lake Norman Elf Classic Running Festival on December 16th, 2023. Like the Turkey Trot, this event is offered in a 5K distance; however, a Half Marathon course is also available for runners who want to challenge themselves.
Looking ahead to 2024, Epic Sports Marketing has already announced a few more running events. The Wildman Half Marathon & 5K, which happens in March, takes place on a wide-open asphalt course that typically runs much faster than other courses. The 5th Annual Lake Norman Forest Run, which usually provides runners with the best weather for race day, has also been scheduled for June.
