—
This recently announced fast training option launched by the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy allows new students to become fully certified to perform up to a dozen popular MedSpa procedures in as little as 8 weeks.
More information about MedSpa careers and training, the Dermysk Academy, and a full list of included procedures can be found at https://academy.dermysk.com
The Dermysk Academy has broken this newly available Basic training course into two sections, allowing students to complete the knowledge portion of their training at their own convenience, from anywhere with an internet connection. After completing 7 online training modules, students can schedule the practical portion of their training at any Dermysk Academy location in Canada.
While the educational portion of the class can be completed entirely at the student’s own convenience, working overnight, between jobs, or on weekends, the practical portion of the class requires daily attendance at an Academy training center for up to one week. During the practical training, students will get hands-on experience with medical aesthetic tools, clients, and scenarios.
After one week of hands-on training, students will be fully certified and ready to work in a MedSpa or to enroll in the Academy’s Advanced aesthetics program. This Advanced class is open to all graduates of the Basic program, and any MedSpa workers with at least 5 years of experience.
This Advanced training provides certification in even the most complex MedSpa techniques available, such as Cool Sculpting, laser gynecology, and advanced laser pigmentation treatments. While the Dermysk Academy also provides classes in injectable cosmetics, due to legal restrictions, these courses are only available to certified physicians and nurses.
Students may begin working in a MedSpa or offering MedSpa services from a home business, immediately after graduation from the Basic training. However, students planning to take first the Basic and then Advanced courses may consider another option, which uses the Dermysk Academy Master-level course.
This program contains all the same training as the Basic and Advanced courses, bundled into a single class, with additional exclusive content not found elsewhere. This Master-level training is also the only way to earn the rare, “Master of Medical Aesthetics” certificate upon graduation.
