About Maureen Connelly
Maureen Connelly is a registered nurse in Wilmington, Delaware. She has been an educator and caregiver for forty-two years at Christiana Hospital, a large teaching hospital in Delaware.
Maureen has contributed to the nursing profession through a long and very fulfilling career.
Maureen has worked in various medical units throughout her career but her favorite was being an adolescent nurse. Recent endeavors include tutoring nurses that are pursuing their nursing degrees. She wants to emphasize to nurses that they can do anything they put their heart and mind to, as stated in the book “Up Until Now.”
When not being a caregiver and educator, Maureen enjoys travel, spending time at the beach, and spending time with family and friends. One of her favorite pastimes is dog sitting for her many friends and families and donating dog beds to one of her favorite local charities in Delaware.
