Global Climate Innovation Center Partners with Klein Well for “GREEN UP” Hiking Campaign

NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / April 26, 2024 / The Global Climate Innovation Center (GCIC), in collaboration with Kleinsche Florasche, is proud to announce the launch of a new global initiative, the "GREEN UP" hiking campaign. This dynamic campaign is set to run from the end of April to October, with major global cities like Beijing, New York, and Silicon Valley serving as focal points.

"GREEN UP" aims to engage communities worldwide through both offline hiking events and online coordination to celebrate The International Day for Biological Diversity, observed annually on May 22. This day promotes biodiversity issues and is a critical part of the UN Post-2015 Development Agenda's Sustainable Development Goals. The campaign encourages participants to take concrete actions towards sustainable living and environmental stewardship.

The campaign will culminate in October with a series of lectures and summits, designed to provide a comprehensive and multi-layered guide to sustainable living practices. These events will also contribute to the United Nations' broader goal of Sustainable Development by fostering a deeper understanding and commitment among participants.

Zuqi Su, Global Climate Innovation Center's team leader, expressed his hopes for the campaign's innovative approach and potential impact. "Through 'GREEN UP,' we aim to connect individuals globally who are eager to advance sustainable development goals through their initiatives, working collectively towards the world we envision," said Zuqi Su.

Zhouzhou Yi, the campaign's spokesperson, added, "We believe this campaign will unite people who are passionate about the planet, concerned with climate change, and committed to protecting biodiversity. It's a call to action for all who cherish our world."
