The NFT will only use a single mint price and will feature 220 rare NFTs and 21 unique tokens that come with exciting perks to holders. The Duelist is an indie game in the mixed RPG game that features two combat modes: the 1vs1 duel mode and the squad mode. The game is set in medieval Europe of the XIV to XVI centuries, highlighting the unique story of a former mercenary who got caught up in a confrontation between City-States. Future token holders will also enjoy various characters they can easily relate with as gamers or collectors. They will get the chance to experience the Bounty Hunter, Deserteur, Covetous Knight, Impostor, Swindler, Highwayman, and Highwaywoman. These characters come with different abilities and special traits that players can leverage during the actual game. With the Bounty Hunter, for instance, having a duel with him will come as a great challenge as he is designed to strike with extreme precision.
At present, The Duelist is in its game prototyping phase. It also involves developing the plot and setting of the project. At this phase, the promotional initiatives will take place to create awareness for the upcoming community. By the third quarter of the year, the community will begin the alpha version development, which will see the creation of the in-game art and animation. The official game trailer will also be released at this phase to give holders a glimpse of what to expect. By the end of 2022, there will be a Secret of Alculus and Sangdeus revelation. Furthermore, the comment will announce the details of the second collection, which is expected to come by 2023.
"The game is being developed with Unreal Engine, a sprawling multi-tool development environment for games and 3D content. It's a really powerful tool that fits well with our goals. Because the game has a turn-based combat system, we would also need a lot of animation for 2d characters and decent visual effects. All of this can be made with UE editor and some other digital tools," the community managers revealed.
Future holders who are lucky enough to mint a unique NFT during the sale will automatically receive a digital copy of the game upon its release. A printed art book with all the characters and their concepts will also be part of the giveaways.
