Item 8.01 Other Events.
On August 22, 2008 SRS Medical Corp. (“SRS Medical”) paid us $100,000 and on August 26, 2008 SRS
Medical paid us an additional $650,000. We agreed to accept these amounts in full satisfaction of
the promissory note issued to us by SRS Medical in 2003 in connection with our sale of certain
assets to SRS Medical. In 2003, because collection of the amounts due under the promissory note
was not reasonably assured, the entire balance was written off and collections made from time to
time were recorded as and when collected.
