Item 8.01 Other Event
On November 8, 2006, Royal Gold, Inc. issued a press release announcing an increase in the Company’s annual dividend from $0.22 to $0.26, payable on a quarterly basis. The first quarter calendar 2007 dividend of $0.065 per share is payable on January 19, 2007, to shareholders of record at the close of business on January 5, 2007.
