Nomura Issues 37th Series of Unsecured Straight Bonds

Tokyo, December 11, 2012—Nomura Holdings, Inc. today announced that it has determined the terms of its 37th series of unsecured straight bonds in the total principal amount of 63 billion yen. The 37th series will be issued to retail investors in Japan. Terms of the issues are as outlined below.

37th Series of Nomura Holdings, Inc. Unsecured Straight Bonds

   Amount of Issue    63 billion yen

   Denomination of each Bond    1 million yen

3.

   Issue Price    100% of the principal amount

4.

   Interest Rate    0.80% per annum

5.

   Offering Period    From December 12, 2012 to December 20, 2012

   Payment Date    December 21, 2012

7.

   Interest Payment Dates    June 21 and December 21 each year

8.

   Maturity Date    December 21, 2015

9.

   Redemption Price    100% of the principal amount

   Security or Guarantee    The Bonds are not secured by any pledge, mortgage or other charge on any assets or revenues of the Company or of others, nor are they guaranteed. There are no assets reserved as security for the Bonds.
