On January 25, 2012, RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. issued a press release (the “Press Release”) announcing its initial estimated net negative impact from the flooding in Thailand on its fourth quarter 2011 results and certain after-tax losses related to RenRe Energy Advisors Ltd. in the fourth quarter 2011. A copy of the Press Release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
