On May 13, 2014, Anthony N. Thompson resigned his position as President and Chief Operating Officer of Papa John’s International, Inc. (the "Company") to accept the role of chief executive officer of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. Mr. Thompson reported to the Company's Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, John H. Schnatter.
