Toronto November 14, 2007 Peace Arch Entertainment Group Inc. (AMEX:PAE ) (TSX:PAE.TO ), an integrated global entertainment company creating and acquiring critically acclaimed film, television and DVD content for worldwide distribution, announced today that it has acquired all worldwide distribution rights to the thriller Devils Mercy, currently in post-production. The film stars Academy Award®-nominated actor Stephen Rea (V For Vendetta, The Crying Game, The End of The Affair) and Deborah Valente (Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Animal 2).
Peace Arch continues to emerge as one of the most active and fastest-growing distributors of independent features films in the world, said John Flock, President and Chief Operating Officer of Peace Arch Entertainment. In Devils Mercy, a couple and their six-year-old son move into an old Connecticut house where the boy soon becomes distraught with thoughts of monsters dwelling in the attic. When their friends and guests abruptly go missing or die mysteriously, it becomes a race against time as the familys lives are in peril.
Devils Mercy just completed principal photography in Canada and is currently in post-production. The film is directed by Melanie Orr, written by James McLean, produced by Robert Wilson, and executive produced by Lewin Webb, Kate Harrison, Jacqueline Kelly, Barbara Sacks and Emlyn J. David.

Additional productions include the powerful ensemble drama Winged Creatures, now in post-production, starring Kate Beckinsale, Academy Award®-winners Forest Whitaker and Jennifer Hudson, Dakota Fanning, Guy Pearce and Jackie Earle Haley, and the romantic comedy The Deal from the best-selling Peter Lefcourt novel, with a cast that includes Academy Award®-nominee William H.
