Custer Network will provide the foundation for distributed application development

By: Get News

NEW YORK – There has been a lot of buzz about the Metaverse and Web3 in recent years, but most people are so caught up in the hype of the concepts that only a few will care about how they are implemented.

Once a hardware-based network is built, it is almost impossible to reconstruct. Software-based networks, on the other hand, can be reconstructed through entrepreneurial innovation and market forces.

The Internet is the ultimate software-based network, with billions of fully programmable computers connected at the edge. Computers connected to the Internet can run any software of the user’s choice for free, and software is the encoding of human thought and can be anything one dreams of, and thus has an almost infinite design space.

The Internet is still in the early stages of development: in the coming decades, core Internet services may be almost completely re-architected, and this will be enabled by the blockchain – which combines the best features of the first two Internet eras: community-governed decentralized networks that will eventually outperform the most advanced centralized services.

Custer: Blockchain Infrastructure Tools Provider

A very interesting project emerged at the Crypto Conference Miami, Custer, a novel underlying blockchain network architecture and innovative blockchain infrastructure tool provider; it is based on the Cosmos underlying tools and uses the Tendermint framework, which simplifies the process of building secure blockchain applications by deploying applications to remote nodes and provisioning servers in a repeatable manner for pushing multi-tier applications and application artifacts using push model settings.

According to Custer’s White paper, the Custer Network will enable fine-grained DevOps implementations to integrate and collaborate off-chain services and resources to drive the adoption of blockchain technology in more real-world application scenarios; in doing so, the Custer Network is expected to become a trusted bridge between the digital and real economies, providing a public blockchain infrastructure for building complex distributed business applications. The Custer network is expected to become a credible bridge linking the digital economy and the real economy, providing public blockchain infrastructure for building complex distributed business applications.

Custer has made great efforts in providing convenience for distributed application developers; in order to avoid the difficulty of code reuse and language limitation that developers often encounter, Custer Network introduces the Tendermint framework, which separates the application layer and underlying consensus of blockchain, and encapsulates the consensus engine and P2P network into Tendermint Core. The Custer Network provides global developers with an easy-to-use, easy-to-understand, high-performance underlying network for distributed applications, which is a powerful catalyst for the development of decentralized networks.

IBC2.0 Solves Blockchain Interoperability Problem

Custer, as a blockchain infrastructure tool provider, besides providing developers with quality blockchain underlying facilities, Custer also launched a novel inter-blockchain communication protocol – IBC2.0. Custer is a Layer1 public chain in the Cosmos ecosystem, and the team chose to follow the IBC protocol in the Cosmos ecosystem when developing the inter-blockchain communication protocol, and optimized and upgraded the protocol.

The IBC 2.0 protocol on the Custer network has the unique advantage that services can be deployed once and invoked anywhere, anytime via the blockchain internet. At the Miami Crypto Conference, the Custer team announced the following improvements to make the IBC2.0 protocol fully functional.

  1. Service definition broadcast to each partition in the Custer network;
  2. Global service binding broadcast to each partition in the Custer network;
  3. Service requests or complaints against remote providers are routed to the blockchain to which the provider is connected;
  4. Service responses or resolutions for remote consumers are routed back to the blockchain to which the consumer is connected.

Custer’s future is worth waiting for

Custer is a novel blockchain underlying architecture and a blockchain infrastructure tool provider; based on the characteristics of blockchain network, Custer network can be defined as a distributed ecosystem. Distributed ecosystem is different from centralized system, distributed ecosystem is not mature at the beginning, but as the number of attracted contributors grows exponentially, then this distributed ecosystem matures by leaps and bounds.

For the Custer network, there are multiple complex factors in the network, such as: compound feedback loops, developers involved in the core protocol, complementary developers, distributed application developers, and operational network service providers. It is only when all these factors involved in the Custer network are in a positive feedback loop that the Custer distributed ecosystem will expand step by step.

It is possible that the Miami Crypto Conference is just the starting point of the Custer network, and more users will get to know and use Custer in the future; the future of Custer is not limited to a certain region on earth, it is a global network, and its future will be a sea of stars!
