Ross Stretch, a recovery and addictions influencer and founder/co-founder of two recovery and addictions-based clothing brands, Ballin Apparel Ltd. & Clarity Capps, is now presented with an opportunity to be involved in the launch of thesoberapp.Ross Stretch is a 35-year Canadian native who grew up on the West coast of Canada in British Columbia and migrated to the Okanagan, British Columbia, for high school. He struggled with addictions in his early teens and is a high school dropout. He also worked as an oilfield tradesman for 15 years, from the age of 16 to 30.
He managed to get clear after his bout of treatment but fell into relapse 14 months later, which almost cost him his life. He was presented with unfathomable circumstances that compelled him to introspect his life during that brief period. He started to re-construct his life and is now committed to helping others do the same.
He is known as a founding member of thesoberapp, having been fortunate enough to be presented with an opportunity to be involved in the app's launch by his friends and founders Danita Turner & Curtis Wasylow. He is currently working on a writing project of his own personal recovery story and has plans to publish and launch the book this summer.
Ross Stretch is inspiring people with his movement, which started on Facebook in October 2017. A staunch advocate of recovery and additions, Ross Stretch has invested his last 4 to 5 years in recovery work and helping other people in recovery and addictions. He is also known as the founder of apparel company Ballin Apparel Ltd. and is set to release its sister brand "BallinBabe" by the end of this year. This brand will design clothes for women and will function exclusively as a female empowerment brand.
Ross Stretch, a.k.a MrBallin, was quoted saying, "We didn't set out to make waves in the world, just quell them. But if we are leaving an impact, it will be a positive one." He adds, "Two things I struggled the most with were an addiction to alcohol and wanting to do more in the world. I get to combine undoing one for the other, and it's pretty magical."
