Award Winning Author Thomas Ramge Releases New Book That Examines The Most Crucial Tech Questions Of Modern Times & How Human Beings Can Use Artificial Intelligence Intelligently As the Covid-19 pandemic winds down, many are left questioning why in modern times with such advanced technology, there is still a lack of scientific data when it comes to answering many essential questions. In Thomas Ramge’s new book, he delivers an articulate explanation as to why many questions have gone unanswered even in a world with big data and machine learning. He also breaks down how human intelligence could better deal with the limits of technology in a postdigital age.

Berlin, Germany – Feb 7th, 2022 – Author Thomas Ramge releases Postdigital: Using AI to Fight Coronavirus, Foster Wealth and Fuel Democracy. In his new book, award-winning author Thomas Ramge examines one of the most crucial tech-questions of modern times: “How can human beings use artificial intelligence intelligently?” The book makes a rigid assessment, what machine learning systems are able to do; and why their capabilities are more limited than tech pundits claim, when they lack the data they need.

During the Covid-19 crisis, the world gorged on infographics of infection data from Johns Hopkins University. But in the vortex of the coronavirus maelstrom, many learned that even in the age of big data and machine learning, they live in squalid poverty when it comes to data concerning many essential questions. Conversely, the book paints an optimistic scenario for a data-rich future, where people use AI as a progressive tool for augmenting well-being for all not only by fighting pandemics, but by improving decision-making, fostering education and fueling democracy. Ramge calls this vision Postdigital.
