With the theme “Power and Paradox: Understanding Grand Strategy in the 21st Century”, TRT World Forum, which will be held on the 19th and 20th of October, will be initiated with the opening speech delivered by the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The 5th TRT World Forum will be held this year with the participation of nearly 100 speakers from 36 countries, including leaders, experts, academics and prominent names to bring new perspectives and approaches to global problems under the title “Power and Paradox: Understanding Grand Strategy in the 21st Century”.
TRT World Forum 2021, which will commence with the opening speeches from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Director of Communications of the Republic of Turkey Fahrettin Altun and Director General of TRT Mehmet Zahid Sobaci on Tuesday, October 19. During the two-day forum, experts will address many crucial global issues ranging from climate and global health crises to international economic development and from the rise of Eurasia to digital governance.
President Erdogan, who has participated in every TRT World Forum since 2017 and made striking statements regarding the agenda of Turkey and the world, which have drawn significant interest in the world press, is expected to make important statements at this year’s event as well.
In TRT World Forum, which will be held online due to pandemic, experts in their fields are going to discuss the prominent problems of latest years in 16 sessions. These sessions, including global humanity crises, international security policies, limits of power and global justice discussions, will touch on the whole humanity.
TRT World Forum 2021, which offers a unique virtual event experience with augmented reality technology, will also host online concerts starring famous artists.
