Montana’s very own, Katelynn Batzer, is the poetic author of the new children’s book “The First Catch.” A teacher by profession, Katelynn spent the last several years identifying ways to engage children in reading and expose them to new vocabulary. When she is not in the classroom or writing, you can find her on the river fly-fishing, a skill her dad taught her. Katelynn graduated from Liberty University with her Masters of Education and finds jot in creating engaging opportunities for children to blossom. Katelynn hopes this book encourages children to explore and read more.
