After back-to-back winter storms swept the United States last week, Texas was hit especially hard and experienced mass power outages, water and food shortages, and severe weather conditions with the coldest temperatures in over 100 years! But that did not stop Ayo Jeremiah and his team who bravely faced the snow-covered streets to deliver cases of water around his local hometown of Houston.
Ayo Jeremiah, CEO of the distinguished digital marketing agency, Leoserv Inc., and respected success coach, offered his help during the devastating winter storm that left millions without power. He organized his team, checked on family members and neighbors, volunteered at the Lakewood Church, and used the power of social media to bring in money for victims in hopes of providing any relief he can to those seeking help.
In addition to his efforts, celebrities such as Beyonce and Matthew McConaughey are donating money, teaming up with foundations, and tapping into resources to provide disaster relief. Texas athletes such as Michael Huff and Zerek Valentin are doing their part also by setting up foundations, purchasing hundreds of meals, and arranging help for those in need from the winter storm.
With every power source compromised, limited water, and freezing conditions, the state of Texas is joining together to supply assistance where it’s needed most during this catastrophe. The experience has motivated Ayo Jeremiah to create a non-profit organization called Ignite Nation, which will not only help Texas make a comeback from the winter storm of 2021, but also help provide relief for future hardships and the less fortunate.
