Family-Owned Sign and Graphics Franchise Celebrates Growth & Camaraderie, Looks to Continue in 2021

With more than 700 locations around the world, Signarama remained strong and signed 54 franchise agreements in 2020, 48 of which joined the franchise following the arrival of the pandemic in March.

Despite the pandemic, Signarama continued to offer businesses branding and messaging solutions, as well as sign and graphic services. Additionally, the brand grew its product offerings through the sale of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) products. Signarama franchisees repurposed sign-making equipment to create face shields, sneeze guards and custom CDC signage and even intubation boxes to protect surgeons as new information became available from the CDC. At the onset of the pandemic, Signarama stores across the nation focused on the needs of essential businesses as well as gratitude signs for healthcare workers and those serving the community. While most of the business remained business-to-business, many stores helped consumers celebrate milestones that had to be postponed or celebrated virtually by creating custom graduation signs, birthday banners and hopeful murals and wall graphics. One franchisee even wrapped his personal vehicle to do birthday car parade celebrations.

In addition to adding over 50 new franchisees in 2020, Signarama continued to build the brand and support current franchisees with several marketing initiatives. For the second consecutive year, Signarama signed on as the title sponsor of the World Axe Throwing League Championship, which aired on ESPN over 6 times. The brand also aired two national TV commercials on Fox News, CNN, and CNN Headline News.
