She also has established experience in restaurant franchising and real estate development.

Outside of the restaurant space, Taja Jacobs serves as co-host with her husband for their radio and TV show, "Dr. J the Counselor." The relationship-focused program airs on Stevie Wonder's Los Angeles-based radio station, KJLH 102.3. She and Fredrick co-authored the soon-to-be-released book "Do I Want to Stay Married?" and she is also a practicing pastor.
