OPEC’s Barkindo stresses importance of oil market stability and investment

In prepared remarks to the S&P Global Platts Americas Petroleum and Energy Virtual Conference on Wednesday, OPEC Secretary General Mohammed Barkindo said OPEC+ will continue to assess the oil market on a month to month basis to ensure stability and stressed that fossil fuels will remain a significant part of the energy mix, even as renewable energy sources grow.
