Pop Singer Jennifer Messina Drops Inspirational New Singles

During her youth, the New York native's own circumstances led to long battles with depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. In addition to prompting Messina to become a mental health advocate, the lessons learned from that experience also led to this powerful ballad. "Time Heals Everything reminds those going through a tough time, that hope is on the way," she explains.

Messina first entered the spotlight as a teenager while competing in Miss America pageants. It was then that she discovered her affinity for singing, modeling and acting. Putting that idea on hold to serve her country, she enlisted in the US Army Band and after completing her bachelor's degree, was commissioned as a lieutenant in the Military Police Corps. That experience helped transform Messina into the strong, motivated woman that she is today. The beauty later reconnected with her first love by studying at Boston's Berklee College of Music.
