Apple has a new agreement with Amazon that lets you rent movies through Prime Video on iPhone

The change in the Amazon Prime Video app on Wednesday is part of an established program for premium subscription video providers that closely integrate with Apple features such as Apple TV apps, Siri support, and single sign-on.
