Nobel-winning economist says forget yield curves— this may be what really fuels a recession

Interest rates on short-term U.S. Treasurys have flipped with rates offered on long term notes twice in the past week. But Robert Shiller, the Nobel-prize winning economist and Yale professor says he's not convinced this is a good indicator of the next recession.
