Glammier and the Executive Producer, Steve Bennett produced a spectacular show, Power of Fashion Deuxieme Partie held at the Larz Anderson House, an exquisite architectural beaux-arts mansion in Washington, DC on May 21, 2023, and following was the exclusive afterparty held on the rooftop of The Ven at Embassy Row.
The fashion show was a great success, leaving the audience in awe and excitement from the glamorous models that walked in grace, poise, and confidence down the runway and the grand marble staircase simultaneously. The upbeat sound of melodies, chords and harmony blended and flowed through the atmosphere that culminated into a symphonic ambiance by the DJ. Mesmerizing and shimmering lights glowed throughout the glided age mansion.
Guy Lambert, the phenomenal MC opened up the event and the stunning Lizeth Alvarado was the red carpet host. Female and male models of all cultures showcased the four fashion designer’s collections of Gamakache Black by Margaret Persaud, Andrew Nowell Menswear by Andre Nowell, Shock the Runway by Rania Abdelgawad, The Debonaire Club by John Waller, and closing the show with Ramona Designs by Mona Moumen.
Sofia Davis, Global Chief Content Officer and Fashion Expert with over 25 years in the business says, “The Power of Fashion” was full of EXCELLENCE. From the time you walked in to the Rooftop after party. All of the Fashion Greats, from near and far attended. The designers were FABULOUS. I cannot wait until next year. I’m already marking my calendar.”
The expert fashion stylist team consisted of Toni Burnett, Ron Cooke, and Toni Foster who worked diligently in coordination with the models, fashion designers, hair and make-up artists, and volunteers in the backroom to prepare for the models to walk the runway. The makeup and hair stylist team alongside Just Tiffany’s Salon by Tiffany M. and Beauty by Tylar By Tylar Garner collaborated to create flawless looks that enhanced the models’ overall appearance. Several volunteers worked hard in the backroom to assist the fashion stylist team and makeup and hair stylists.
The sponsors, LH LUXE Cosmetics, Cashmere and Pearls, Xquizite Beaute’, Balacía, O.T.E. Salon, The Bedroom Hair, The Wineshop at Home, and Miquel Wilson were present at the event. Glammier’s official photographers were Phelan Marc and the video team, Creative Mindz. The fashion show was photographed and videographed by other press and media who appeared at the show. The Publicist for Power of Fashion Deuxieme Partie was Tishawn Marie of Celestial Caring Enterprise, LLC. Four remarkable queens attended, Miss District of Columbia, Ms. USA Universe, Ms. Virginia, and Miss Earth USA Air.
