Successful Conclusion – Creative Biolabs Shares CNS Disease Research Tools at the PPA Science & Technology Fair

By: Get News
Last week, Creative Biolabs participated in the PPA Science & Technology Fair held in Philadelphia, marking a successful conclusion to their presentations and interactions at the event.

New York, USA - May 20, 2024 - The biannual PPA Science & Technology Fair is a major platform for exchanging tools and technologies, bringing experts from around the world together to discuss the latest scientific advancements. At this year's fair, Creative Biolabs showcased its cutting-edge neuroscience technologies and services, garnering widespread attention and high praise.

Creative Biolabs provided detailed introductions to their classical and advanced in vivo and in vitro tools for neuroscience research. These technologies and services offer robust support for studying central nervous system diseases, aiming to help scientists gain a deeper understanding of pathological mechanisms and develop potential treatments.

One of the representatives from Creative Biolabs was interviewed and said, "Our booth attracted researchers early on, and we are now introducing in vivo neuroscience services. Our experts have extensive experience with the tools used in developing animal models to facilitate drug discovery and development."

Creative Biolabs shared examples of animal models developed for clients, such as PD and AD animal models. These neurodegenerative disease mouse models closely mimic the genetic characteristics of humans and show high similarity in drug responses, making them ideal platforms for drug screening and therapy research.

Following the in vivo tool presentation, Creative Biolabs introduced in vitro research tools for neuroscience. "In vitro research is also suitable for drug discovery and toxicity testing, and it avoids the ethical concerns often associated with in vivo studies. Our in vitro technology platform is comprehensive and capable of meeting diverse experimental needs."

For example, the research platform encompasses cell culture models, cell viability assays, and neuronal plasticity assays, using samples such as primary neurons, neuronal cell lines, stem cell-derived neurons, or brain tissue slices.

"Our neural cell culture models simulate the real growth environment of neurons, providing more accurate reflections of disease pathology, which is valuable for new drug development," the representative added. Creative Biolabs' cell culture models also encompass cell line models and hiPSC-derived neuronal cell culture models and can even be custom-developed to suit specific experimental requirements.

Towards the end of the exhibition, Creative Biolabs emphasized classical neuroscience imaging techniques for studying neural diseases. The representative highlighted, "High-resolution imaging allows us to observe changes in neuron connections and signal transmission in real-time. This is crucial for studying the pathological mechanisms and can help us identify new targets."
