“The 15th Music Chinese Awards” Announces Winners – Highlight Singers in the Spotlight of The Next Generation of Music Stars

The organizing committee of "The 15th Music Chinese Awards" recently unveiled the list of winners for this fifteenth edition. Since its first edition in 2009, "The 15th Music Chinese Awards" has invited hundreds of renowned singers such as Eason Chan, G.E.M. (Gloria Tang), Hacken Lee, and more. The judging panel for this edition includes several legendary musicians and industry veterans.

G.E.M., one of the most influential female singers in the Asian Chinese music scene, was recognized for her extraordinary vocal skills and songwriting abilities. She was honored with multiple accolades including the "Best Mandarin Female Singer of the Year," "Best Mandarin Album of the Year," and the "Judges' Award."

Alpeo's song "Growing Up With 0616" received the award for the Year’s Outstanding Composed Song. The song is a tribute to her idol Joey Yung and aims to promote Cantonese music and idol's work in various regions. Alpeo also received an Overseas Creative Lyricist Award in Brazil. Alpeo is also the Co-Founder of The Asia VIP Music Chart.

Kaitlyn Lam, a rising star in the Asian music industry, was awarded the Outstanding Singer-Songwriter of the Year for her song "Why Are You Always Looking At Me." This recognition is a testament to her exceptional musical talent and dedication, and she aims to continue creating music as a way to thank her fans and supporters. A note worthy, she’s a new and rising talented singer in Hong Kong

Purple Lee, also known as the Queen of Children's Songs, won the award for Favorite Children's Album with her outstanding songwriting skills. She has composed numerous popular children's songs, and her work this year alone has yielded a record of 100 new songs.

TR Chen, a Malaysian singer of Thai and Malay heritage, and an ambassador for the Malaysian arts scene, won the award for the Year’s Outstanding TV and Movie (OST) Song with his track "Eternal Love." This song has also been selected as one of the soundtrack songs for a popular web series on Tencent Video in 2024.

“The 15th Music Chinese Awards" has once again celebrated the best talents in the industry and highlighted the achievements of outstanding musicians. These winners represent the diversity and creativity present in the Chinese music scene, and their contributions continue to inspire music lovers worldwide.
