On July 16, 2008, American International Group, Inc. (AIG) issued a press release announcing that
the Board of Directors of AIG elected Suzanne Nora Johnson a director. Committee membership
for Ms. Nora Johnson will be determined at a later date. A copy of the press release is attached
as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
Also on
July 16, 2008, Richard C. Holbrooke informed AIG that he was
resigning from the Board of
Directors of AIG effective immediately.
