On February 4, 2008, Independent Bank Corporation (the “Company”) filed a Current Report on Form 8-K reporting that, effective February 1, 2008, the Company established new base salaries for certain executive officers. This Amendment No. 1 to Current Report on Form 8-K/A is being filed to make a correction to the base salary reported for Robert N. Shuster, Executive VP & CFO. Mr. Shuster’s base salary, effective for calendar year 2008, is $230,000.
