São Paulo, February 16, 2016 - GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes S.A. (BM&FBOVESPA: GOLL4 and NYSE: GOL), (S&P: B-, Fitch: CCC and Moody’s: B3), the largest low-cost and best-fare airline in Latin America hereby announces preliminary air traffic figures for the month of January 2016. Comparisons refer to the same period of 2015.
GOL’s highlights
| The volume of departures in the domestic market was 2.8% lower in January compared to the same period of 2015.
| Domestic supply fell by 1.7% in the month compared to January 2015.
| Domestic demand reduced by 3.6% in January, leading to a load factor of 82.4% representing a decrease of 1.7 p.p. in the annual comparison.
| In the international market, the volume of departures was 9.8% lower, resulting in a supply decrease of 16.0%. Meanwhile, demand fell less than supply in January, reaching 11.4% and registering a load factor of 81.1%.
